As the very first VIScon in 2018 was a huge success, we decided to go bigger and better for this year.
Once again, our VIScon Symposium will be packed with inspiring talks, workshops and plenty of opportunities to network. Interested and motivated students are invited to learn more about the computer science happening outside the lecture halls.
For the first time this year, the symposium gets enriched with an exhibition. Here, students will have the opportunity to experience computer science hands-on. A part of the exhibition could be a presentation of autonomous robots and drones or the possibility to experience the latest developments in augmented and virtual reality.
Not only ETH students but also computer science students from other universities are invited to join the symposium. This year’s focus lays on interdisciplinarity and variety in computer science. Students from other technical and and natural science departments can learn how computer science bridges the gap to other disciplines and how it enables engineers of different fields to work together.
Therefore, we are now looking for inspiring and excited speakers. People from various companies, research groups and backgrounds are invited to talk about what they do and how they got where they are.
Do you want to present your latest research or introduce trending topics from industry? You are very welcome to submit a proposal to this year’s VIScon Call for Proposals!
The call for proposals will be open until
May 31st 15th of June - we have extended the deadline! Please make sure to have entered all proposals up to this date.
